Yellow Fever Information: There is no risk of yellow fever in South Africa. The government of South Africa requires proof of yellow fever vaccination only if you are arriving from a country with risk of yellow fever. This does not include the US. If you are traveling from a country other than the US, check this list to see if you may be required to get the yellow fever vaccine: Countries with risk of yellow fever virus (YFV) transmission.

Visit your country’s government website for information about and recommendations for traveling to Cape Town. When traveling outside of your home country, it is recommended that you register with your embassy or consulate by notifying that office of your travel dates and destination.

Your request will be processed within 10 business days. Requests for confirmation letters must be submitted by 22 June 2016. Requests for mailed letters will be reviewed, and additional fees will apply. The confirmation letter does not guarantee that you will receive a visa. Confirmation letters include only the event title, dates, location, payment confirmation of registration fees, and that you are a presenter if applicable. If you are denied a visa, we will provide you with a full refund if we are notified before Wednesday 22 June 2016. Attendees are advised to apply for a visa as early as possible.
